A Couple of Weeks Ago, Microsoft Announced an Intriguing New Partnership with China's Largest Smartphone Vendor, Xiaomi. The 2 Companies Have been Collaborating to Enable Owners of Xiaomi's Android Flagship, the "Mi4", to Install "Windows 10" on to the Handset - perhaps with the Ultimate Aim of Developing a 'Universal' Means of Installing the OS onto any Android Device. Microsoft Said that, it Expects the 'Windows 10 ROM Pack' for the "Mi4" to be Made Available "in the months to come". Xiaomi Released an Image of the OS on its Handset Last Month but, a Video Published More Recently on the Company's MIUI Forums, Now Shows "Windows 10" in Action on the "Mi4".
At 1st Glance, it May Look like it's actually Windows Phone 8.1 Running on the Device but, if you Look Closely at the On-Screen Keyboard, you May be Able to Spot the New 'Nubbin' that Allows Users to Scroll More Easily through Text - a Feature that has Only Appeared in Builds of "Windows 10" for Phones. The Video also Shows that, the "Windows 10" Build Installed on the "Mi4", Responds to Inputs from the Handset's Android Hardware Buttons, Indicating that, those Buttons Have been Remapped to Interact with the Windows OS.
