Earlier Yesterday, we Reported that, Some Users had Experienced Problems after Installing the PS4 Firmware Update v2.04 but, it also Seems that, Some PlayStation 4 Owners Can’t Install the Update at All.
Personally, we’re Choosing Not to Install the Update right now, until we Hear that Issues are Resolved or Not Happening as Frequently but, if you’re Keen to Get the PS4 Firmware Update v2.04 and Can’t currently Install it, Try this Option, as Suggestion by Ask PlayStation, Twitter’s Official PlayStation Support Team.
Disconnect your Router and Console from the Power Source for 3 Minutes, Reconnect them and Try Again.
Yes, we Shouldn’t Have to do this but, it’s a Workaround that Seems to be Working for Many Who Have either Haven’t been Able to Trigger the Update at All, or Have had it Stuck at a Certain Percentage during Installation.
