VIDEO: Sony Explains How To Pass Your PS4 Controller to a Friend on PSN

Sony’s Big PlayStation 4 2.0 Update is Hitting Next Week and Included is a Feature Promised since the Console Reveal in February 2013. 'Share Play' (as it’s Now Known) is Coming as Part of the “Masamune” Update (along with a Host of Other Features). In Order to Let your Friend Spectate or Take Over, you’ll Need to Start a Party with them. Once you’ve Done that, Select the New 'Share Play' Option in the Party Menu. That Sets Up Spectate Mode. You Can also Virtually Hand your Controller your Friend. They Don’t Need to Own or Download the Game, Nor do they Need PLAYSTATION Plus (you do as the Host, though). You Can also Invite a Friend to Act as Player 2 in a Competitive or Cooperative Game. In the Video below, Sony Shows that Off in a FIFA Match. Both Players do Need to Have PLAYSTATION Plus for this Feature but, Again, the Guest Doesn’t Need to Own or Download the Title. System Update 2.0 is Scheduled for Release on October 28th.
