Facebook has a Program which Encourages People Outside the Company to Report Security Problems with the Site -- by Paying them a Bounty. The Company Paid Out $1.5 Million in Bounties in 2013 Alone.
Now, Oculus has been Added to the Bounty Program, The Verge Reports.
Right Now, Facebook -- which Acquired Oculus in March -- is Asking People to Report Vulnerabilities in the Oculus Website and Developer Messaging System. But, that Could Expand, Says Facebook's Neal Poole: "Potentially in the future, if people were to go explore and find issues in the SDK or the hardware, that is definitely of interest to us".
