VIDEO: "Sling TV" App Launches on XBox One with Free Month-Long Trial

The App for Dish Network's Online Streaming TV Service, Sling TV, is Now Available on XBox One and Users of Microsoft's Console Have a Month to Try it Out for Free. As Announced in January, XBox One is the 1st Gaming Console to Feature an App for Sling TV and its 1-Month Trial is also the Longest Free Trial Available on any Platform. While Sling TV's Xbox One App Features a Similar Interface to its Apps on Mobile Platforms, it's also been Modified to Fit with the Console's Style and Abilities, as Seen below. For those Interested in Subscribing to the Service, Sling TV will Cost $20 a Month and Come with the Following Channels: AMC, ESPN, ESPN2, TNT, TBS, Food Network, HGTV, Travel Channel, Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, ABC Family and CNN.

The Addition of AMC to its Base Channel Package was Announced in February following Heavy Requests from Users. Sling TV will Soon Have Several Rivals in the Online Television Service Industry, with Sony Announcing its PlayStation Vue Service and Apple Reportedly Planning on Launching its Own Service. In the Former Case, Sony will Have Several Local Network Channels Available, including CBS, Fox and NBC, though it's Rumored to Cost around $50 a Month. In Apple's Case, a Service Hasn't Officially been Announced, though a Recent Wall Street Journal Report Claims, it will also Feature 3 Local Channels – ABC, CBS and Fox – and Cost about $30 a Month.
