Xiaomi Topples Samsung to Become #1 Smartphone Manufacturer in China

Chinese Smartphone Manufacturer, Xiaomi, has been Revealed to Have Become the Top Vendor in its Home Country Ahead of Samsung and Lenovo. According to the Latest Report from Market Analysis Firm, Canalys, Xiaomi has Managed to Make Impressive Gains in China and Become the #1 Vendor in the World's Largest Smartphone Market. China currently Boasts of Nearly 37% of the World's Smartphone Shipments and Being a Top Vendor in such a Market is an Enviable Position for Any Manufacturer. The Other Companies Battling Out in the Chinese Top 10 include, Lenovo, Yulong, Huawei, BBK, ZTE, OPPO and K-Touch. Most of these OEMs are Limited to China while Some are Expanding into Other Parts of Asia and Europe Gradually.


Xiaomi, Recently Started Expanding itself in South-East Asia and India with Similar Strategy which has Brought Success for the Company in China. In the 2nd Half of the Year, Xiaomi is Expected to Launch Devices in Indonesia, Mexico, Russia, Thailand and Turkey, as well. Samsung has Seen a Dip in Sales for the 1st Time in 2 Years during the Previous Quarter as it has Struggled to Keep Smartphone Prices Down and the Overall Slowing Down of the Premium Smartphone Market as Consumers Look towards Formidable Inexpensive Smartphones such as the Moto G and the Recently Launched Xiaomi Mi-4.
