Riot Creating eSports Symposium to Benefit Pros Young and 'Old'

Riot Games is Booting Up a New League of Legends Rookie Symposium so that, eSports Pros Can Help the Next Generation of Players Understand the Demands of Playing the Game, Polygon Reports. The Symposium has 2 Purposes: Giving Players Who "Age Out" of Competitive Play an Outlet for their Experiences, Talents and Skills -- and Helping Younger Players Understand What Being a Pro Means. It's Modeled after a Similar Real-Life Orientation Program in the NFL, according to Riot EU Head of eSports, Jason Yeh. The Program May Not be as Necessary to Older Players as Riot Thinks it is, if the Preliminary Research by Dr. Amine Issa is any Indicator. After Measuring League of Legends Players, Issa Said, "I think the [age] ceiling for this is much higher than most people think".
