Sony has Announced that it has Sold 10 Million PS4s Globally Worldwide, while the XBox One is Currently around 5 Million Sales. Now, we're Not Counting the XBox One Out just Yet but, it Seems Don Mattrick, Previous Bigshot over at XBox, would Claim this to Mean the PS4 as the Winner of this Generation. In a Statement Back in May 2008 regarding the Sales of the XBox 360 - which had, at that Point, Achieved 10 Million Units Sold in the US - Mattrick Claimed that, this was a Sign of Victory for Microsoft. "History has shown us that the first company to reach 10 million in console sales wins the generation battle", Said Mattrick of the XBox 360. "We are uniquely positioned to set a new benchmark for the industry." Now, while the PS3 had Managed to Claw its Way Back - at Least in Terms of Sales - to Many it is Considered that, the Xbox 360 is the 'Winner' of the Last Generation, at Least Due to Developer Preference. We're Not Seriously suggesting that, the PS4 will 'Win' this Generation Off the Back of this but, it's Funny to Think that, Something Don Mattrick Said Back in 2008, Can be Applied so Well against Microsoft itself Today.
