"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" to Be The Last in The Series ?

Just as Halo is Synonymous with XBox, Uncharted is the Same with PlayStation. Naughty Dog's 1st VideoGame in the Series Launched with the PS3 in 2006 and was a Critical and Commercial Hit for the Platform. That Lead to 2009's Uncharted 2: Among Thieves which, with a 96/100 on Metacritic, Remains the Best Reviewed PS3 Game of All Time, Aside from the Last 2 Grand Theft Auto Entries. 2011's Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception also Fared Strongly with a 92/100. Now though, with the Launch of the PlayStation 4, the Adventures of Fortune Hunter 'Nathan Drake' May be Coming to an End with Next Year's PS4-Exclusive, "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End", Potentially being the Final Outing for the Series.




Nolan North, the Voice Actor behind 'Nathan Drake' in the Games, Tells that, as Far as he's Aware the upcoming 4th Game will be the Last Title that Naughty Dog Want to do in the Series:


"It's bittersweet but, at a certain point you want to go out on top. If this is the last one indeed and I believe it's the last one - nothing's confirmed but, I believe it's the last one Naughty Dog wants to do, in which case I hope somebody else doesn't pick up the mantle because, they've done it so well for so long - but yeah, it's one of those things where you just have to cross that bridge when you get to it. I like the idea of going out on top so we better do a hell of a job with this one... and it's already looking pretty good."




The High Profile Staff Turnover at Naughty Dog in Recent Months has Seen Some of the Key Driving Forces behind the Uncharted Series Leaving the Company, Most Notably Writer, Amy Hennig and Game Director, Justin Richmond. The New Entry has been Left in the Hands of The Last of Us Directors, Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley. Naughty Dog Hasn't Yet Commented on Whether there are Plans to Produce a Remastered Box Set of the PS3 Uncharted Trilogy Ahead of the "Uncharted 4" Release Next Fall. The Company will No Doubt be Watching the Sales of Both their Own The Last of Us: Remastered and Microsoft's Halo: The Master Chief Collection this Year, to See if such a Project would be Worth Pursuing.
