That New "Predator" Movie ? Not a Reboot, Says Director

The Director of the Just-Announced New "Predator" Movie has Gone on the Record about What his Plans are. When News Broke Yesterday (June 25) that a New "Predator" Movie was in the Works from 20th Century Fox, the Word that Quickly Got Thrown Around was "Reboot" -- in Other Words, the Franchise was Going to be Reset and Started from Scratch. Apparently, however, that's Not the Case. Collider Got in Touch with the Film's Director, Shane Black, Who Said that, he and Screenwriter Fred Dekker (The Monster Squad) Have Something Different in Mind and he Says it's Not a Reboot, "as far as Fred and I are concerned anyway", Adding, "why start over, when you’ve all this rich mythology yet to mine ?”, Black Continued to Say that he Wasn't a Fan of Reboots but, "can really get behind inventive sequels" and “the idea of expanding and exploring the existing Predator mythology, rather than hitting the restart button”.  Considering that Black Recently Made One of Marvel's More Inventive Sequels with Iron Man 3, I'd Say there's a Good Chance that he and Dekker (One of the Genre's More Underrated Filmmakers) Might Come Up with Something Special with their Take on the "Predator" Universe, instead of just Another Uninspired Rehash (and that's Not a Knock on Predators, which I Happened to Like Quite a Bit). Do you Think we'll See a Fresh and Unique Evolution of the "Predator" Franchise from this Team ?
