VIDEO: "Alien: Isolation" Lasts for 15 Hours

There's an Angry Interview on YouTube Where a Surprisingly Cheerful Angry Joe Interviews likewise Sanguine Gary Napper about "Alien: Isolation", Creative Assembly's upcoming Survival / Horror Game Based on the Hit-and-Miss Movie Series. Along the Way, Gary Discusses How Long we Should Expect the Game to Run:

"The game's actually about 15 hours long. Because we've got so much to do with the narrative, all the different mechanics of the alien, on top of that we have the other threats about the station, we've got this big long story that folds out. And it's also a bit like a Metroidvania game where you've got a linear story where you go through but you can also go back and explore areas you've been to. So, you can go back to areas and find new things, use things you found to explore and open up new areas. So, it feels very much like you're unlocking the station it's a real place you can go through. So, there's a lot to do in the world. But the difficult thing is nailing a time because people can play for absolutely ages without even seeing the alien because they're being really careful and being really stealthy: they've done nothing to call him down or there have been no explosions that he has come to investigate. Those people can get through it fairly quickly. Then you have other people (laughs at Joe shouting "speedrunners !") but, because of the systematic AI, there could be humans there, there might not, you could be stuck for quite a while trying to figure out a situation it's very hard to do it."
