"The Liberator" Trailer: Edgar Ramirez Fights for Freedom

That Shot above Looks Like it Could almost be Édgar Ramírez as 'Jon Snow' from Game of Thrones but, in Reality it is Ramírez as 'Simón Bolívar' in the Film, "The Liberator" (a.k.a. "Libertador"). Or, if you Want to be Proper about it, the Image Shows Ramírez as 'Simón José Antonio' de la Santísima Trinidad Bolívar y Palacios Ponte y Blanco, Who Lived from 1783 to 1830 and was One of the Most Important Military Leaders in Latin America’s Effort to Shrug Off Colonial Spanish Rule. Now Bolívar is the Subject of a Biopic. Despite Having the Intensely Talented Ramírez to Play the Man, the Film Seems like it is Cut right from the Mold of so Many Other Biographic Films.

To Get an Idea of How it All Came Together, Watch "The Liberator" Trailer, below:

Lot of Production Value on Display there and the Story itself is Fascinating. But, the Film Looks like it Goes about its Business in a Very by the Numbers Manner. Like Some of those Shots of the Military Forces in Movement, this Seems like a Quick Flyover of the Large Conflict. Hopefully there are Some Good Performances in there that, the Trailer Doesn’t Really Highlight.

"The Liberator" is Scheduled for Release on August 22nd.
