Until Now, Wacom's Largest Pen Display for Design Pros was the Cintiq 24HD. Well, at CES 2015, the Company Gave those Looking to do Some On-Screen Work Even More Real Estate. As the Name Suggests, the "Cintiq 27QHD" Offers 27 Inches of Screen Space with a 2,560 x 1,440 Resolution, Capable of 1.07 Billion Colors and Wrangling 97% of Adobe's Gamut. Rather than Stashing the Popular ExpressKeys on One Side, the Controls Have Relocated to a Remote that Can be Placed Anywhere on the Display or Down on a Desk. That Change also Allowed Wacom to Give the "27QHD" an Edge-to-Edge Glass Surface -- a Departure from the Soft-Touch Bezels that Used to Frame these Cintiqs. The Pro Pen Returns, Bringing 2,048 Levels of Pressure Sensitivity and Replaceable Pen Nibs, including Felt Tips that Offer the Feel of Pen on Paper. Around the Outside, there's a Built-In Stand with Flat (Well, 5 Degrees) and 20-Degree Viewing Angles. If you'd Rather Have Something More Versatile, there's an Optional ERGO Stand, which I'd Highly Recommend. Also, for Folks Who Prefer to Use Touch Gestures as Part of their Daily Workflow, there's a 2nd Model that, will Allow you to do just that. Both Pen Displays are Set to Arrive in Late January with the Cintiq 27QHD Priced at $2,300; the "Cintiq 27QHD" Touch Costs an Extra $500. Of Course, if you're After Something a Little More Affordable, the Existing 13- and 22-Inch Options are still Available.
