The PlayStation 4 and XBox One, Have Proven to be Surprisingly Robust to Piracy. Pirates Always Find a Way, though and it Seems that, Someone May just Have Cracked the PS4. According to a Report from Brazilian Site, UOL Jogos, Pirates Have Managed to Hack the PlayStation 4 and are Selling Pirated Games by Copying them on to Customers’ PS4 Hard Drives. “We put 10 games on your HD”, UOL Jogos were Told by One of the Pirates. ”We put a chip on your PS4, we connect our laptop to the chip, format the hard drive and copy video games. After that, we remove the chip and deliver the device”, he Said. The ‘Chip’ itself is Said to be a Raspberry Pi. According to the Pirates, Once the Games are Installed, you Can Download Updates as Normal and will be Able to Play Online without Sony being Able to Tell that, the Games are Pirated. The Hack could Open the Way for Pirated PS4 Games to Become Available on a Wider Scale, Unless of Course, Sony Can Find a Way to Crack Down on the Hack via a Future Patch Update.
