West Games is Back at Trying to Raise Funds for their Own Spiritual Successor to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Series. Their 1st Go at this, with a Game Called, "Areal", Went Poorly, as Questions about the Legitimacy of the Project Led to it Being Suspended by Kickstarter, as Claims that a AAA Game Could be Developed for $50,000 were Met with Widespread Skepticism. They Have Now Launched a New Crowdfunding Campaign on World Wide Funder, Seeking $600,000, for a Project Called, "STALKER Apocalypse". That Sounds Like it Might be Infringing on the Acronym Title from the "S.T.A.L.K.E.R." Series but, they Don't See it that Way, Saying: "We have registered a trademark for Stalker Apocalypse, and have every right to use it as our title. Stalker by itself is a common word and anyone can use it".
